Similar to the first suggestion, but it means hoping to get the money to buy your new home. This might be the most cost-effective way to go about doing it. This means really going out of your way making your current home really presentable for potential buyers. At the very least, you know that you will have money for a down payment for a new house.

Rent for a Little bit
Some buyers will rent for a short time while their new home is being built or waiting to close on the property. Not the best idea when you have a large family, but you definitely will appreciate your dream home.
