Holiday Safety is a Must, Especially in Your New Home

Holiday safety for you and your family can help ensure that you will enjoy the holiday season. Here are some tips to make sure that you have things covered as you celebrate your holidays

Holidays safety starts with checking for damages

  • keeping light strings to a minimum of three
  • using battery-operated candles
  • keeping combustibles at least 3 feet from heat sources

When not using lights, you should turn them off.

Never leave them going unattended. Candle fires often occur during the times of 11 PM to 7 AM, when people are asleep.

These are easy to follow and super sensible. Even with great insurance, the last thing that you want to happen to your house is to burn before you get to fully enjoy it.
