Zion National Park
Zion National Park is the perfect blend of jagged red rocks jutting from the ground and luscious foliage accompanied by winding rivers and breathtaking waterfalls. Take a hike through many of Zion National Park’s world famous trails where they offer options for beginners or advanced trekkers. The famous Angel’s Landing hike is one of the advanced trail options offered by the national park, and although it is quite a workout, it’s totally worth the view. If you’re just passing through Southern Utah, stopping at Zion National Park is worth the trip. It’s just a few hours away from Las Vegas, making it accessible to road trippers.
Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon National Park is home to some of Utah’s more unique rock formations. The canyon forms a bowl like shape, with tightly packed red stone pillars sticking up from the ground. This national park is at an elevation of 8,000-9,000 feet, allowing for some pretty sweet camera-ready views. You’ll feel like you’re in a fantasyland when you trek the winding trails like Fairyland Loop Trail or Queen’s Garden Trail. Due to the high elevation, Bryce Canyon receives quite a bit of snowfall during the winter months- but it sure is pretty. This is a great national park to visit year round.
